Website Copywriter/Editor

Position Summary:

Copywriters play a key role in content development across all media, including digital and print deliverables, working closely with Creative Director and brand marketing team from initial concept through completion/delivery. Primarily focused on exploring, developing, and producing innovative ideas appropriate to the marketing strategy, role incumbents will drive the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting with management to determine marketing strategies. 
• Conducting market research as it applies to writing copy relating to company products. 
• Writing headlines, long form copy, promotional copy, scripts, web copy, content strategy. 
• Social media content creation and all related copywriting. 
• Developing a clear and consistent brand voice. 
• Reviewing and editing all copy for clarity and proper grammar and punctuation 
• Working closely with department and division members to coordinate deliverables with Project Managers. 
• Understanding user experience and concepts of usability. 
• Interpreting copywriting briefs to understand project requirements. 
• Understanding different language styles that appeal to various target markets.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree 
• Minimum 3 years Copywriting experience. 
• Knowledge of digital, non-digital and integrated media, with ability to edit content for the web and a willingness to learn how to help manage digital content.

Desired:

• Knowledge of graphic arts is a plus.
