The Writer should have an affinity for knowing how their written words will be presented and interpreted by an intended audience. Additional tactical responsibilities can include: trade show support, media public relations, newsletter/publications, employee communications and advertising.
The communicator in this position will have had related writing experiences in an advertising, marketing or public relations agency, media, editorial or corporate communications function. This person must be an independent thinker and worker - someone who wants to dig in, learn fast, and produce results. The writer must be a strong project manager and a team player who will embrace the wins and learn from the losses. This position will primarily support the marketing manager as a liaison to Alta's client teams and corporate support departments.
- Write content for new business proposals, existing client business reviews, case studies, white papers, web site(s), sales collateral and more
- Create and manage a knowledge base tool designed to house and update all approved messaging for presentations and proposals
- Prepare press releases, media alerts, and other media contact communication
- Write and coordinate internal communications (bi-annual Company Meeting), writing articles for the Alta employee Intranet, producing flyers, and developing other internal communications)
- Support with web site and social media content planning and management
