TDS Telecom is looking for a dynamic Associate Manager - Field Marketing to support the Madison, WI market and surrounding areas!

The Associate Manager-Field Marketing (AM) is responsible for administering and supporting the initiatives developed by Consumer Marketing to achieve its sales and revenue targets within strategic markets. The AM will support consumer initiatives through the support of local marketing activities and community development efforts within assigned markets. The AM identifies potential community involvement activities that develop and maintain the TDS brands while also generating sales opportunities for consumer products. Part of the AM role is the responsibility for developing local community partnerships with Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) properties, developers/realtors, and other association-based entities to enable further product penetration of video and broadband services to customers in this important segment. The position is responsible for identifying public relations opportunities and competitive threats in the communities supported. The AM will act as a local resource for other centralized teams within TDS as needed. In addition, the AM will provide support in these key markets for Commercial Marketing team efforts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years professional work experience.
  • 4+ years marketing, sales or customer operations experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Other Qualifications:

  • Proficient with sales CRM tools and database management.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in conducting group product demonstrations.
  • Due to serving multiple geographically dispersed markets, must be willing to travel 40%-50% of the time.
  • Background and/or working knowledge in customer service, marketing, management and/or sales.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
