JOB SUMMARY:

Researches, writes and edits marketing content ensuring consistency of company service and product messaging across a variety of channels including: web, email, sales presentations, articles, whitepapers and print materials. Partners with business leads to define relevant, key messaging and see that messaging is implemented successfully across marketing communication channels.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Write clear marketing content to for use across all channels in support of Sales and Account Management programs.
  2. Research industry-related topics for use in marketing content
  3. Develops initial strategy planning document for: assessing existing content library, appropriate business partners, and regular quarterly objectives.
  4. Works with marketing and sales team to identify key short term vs. long term goals and KPIs.
  5. Works with subject matter experts in a productive, regular way to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on existing messaging.
  6. Works with business leads and legal teams to ensure approvals for all new and updated content.
  7. Ensures that all messaging meets branding standards and develops internal service information documents when applicable to alert staff of any updates or changes.
  8. Regularly reports on content strategy initiatives to marketing leadership demonstrating progress and changes.
  9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  10. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  11. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

JOB SCOPE:

This role works under general supervision with latitude and discretion to make choices within standard parameters as well as to assess and recommend alternatives in absence of such parameters. The incumbent possesses and applies a general range of knowledge of practices and procedures within the field to complete job responsibilities. Work is varied. The incumbent has latitude to review decisions and actions of less experienced staff to ensure accuracy in work outputs due to the impacts to revenues and company image. While this is not a supervisory job, an incumbent provides work direction and guidance in absence of Manager.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Minimum bachelors' degree in a related field plus five (5) years of experience creating and/or editing content.
  • Strong understanding of B2B communications
  • Keen understanding of healthcare audiences incluing payor (insurance), providers and consumers
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry and/or managed care preferred
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including senior leadership as well as have the propensity to ask appropriate questions when needed.
  • Must be able to review and comprehend internal analytics and reporting to transform those complex ideas into meaningful stories for our clients.
  • Ability to develop copy for varying channels including: sales presentations (PPT), web, print, video, social, and any additional platform that is required.
  • Must work well with designers to develop appropriate image/visual pairing with copy.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • SEO experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at once within tight deadlines
