Coborn's, Inc. is a fast-growing employee-owned grocery retailer located in the Midwest. Our grocery store formats include Coborn's, Cash Wise, Marketplace Foods, Hornbacher's, and we offer unique online grocery home delivery services through our CobornsDelivers and Cash Wise Delivers locations. Coborn's, Inc. also owns and operates liquor stores under the Coborn's Liquor, Cash Wise Liquor and Captain Jack's brands. Additionally, our fuel and convenience division, in-house grocery warehouse and distribution center, in-house Central Bakery, and Tops Cleaners are significant assets to our operations. We also have a handful of other retail entities in the markets where the fit is right: Little Dukes, Holiday Stationstores, Ace Hardware, Caribou Coffee, Dunn Bros Coffee, Subway and Erbert and Gerbert's.

Join our team of innovative and passionate marketing professionals at Coborn's, Inc. We're seeking a full time Digital Marketing Manager to join our team near Minneapolis in New Hope, Minnesota!

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for creating and executing digital-centric projects to drive profitable business and customer growth for Coborn’s Inc’s, especially within our ecommerce portfolio. In collaboration with the marketing leadership team, this individual is responsible for implementing digital marketing campaigns to drive web and mobile traffic to company websites and increase ecommerce sales through digital channels. Measure and report on the effectiveness of these efforts against revenue and profitability targets. This position leads our digital marketing team and manages our Customer Relations Contact Center to optimize the customer experience at all touch points.

As the Digital Marketing Manager at Coborn's, Inc, you will:

  • Develop strategic marketing plans and customer lifecycle campaigns to grow ecommerce revenue and guest digital engagement through device-optimized channels such as websites, microsites, landing pages, targeted emails, SEO/SEM, keyword campaigns, social media channels, remarketing efforts, contextual ads, banner ads, mobile ads, affiliate marketing campaigns and others. Provide forecasted results of these efforts. 
  • Execute marketing plans by overseeing digital marketing team, providing project management and workload management support. Manage digital campaign calendar and ensure all projects adhere to timeline and budget. 
  • Evaluate the performance of all digital strategies through measurable KPIs and analytics dashboards. 
  • Compare performance against forecasts making adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency and efficacy in achieving outlined goals. 
  • Collaborate with the advertising, marketing, and loyalty management teams to coordinate synergies with traditional media and digital efforts and strive for a top-performing omni-channel guest experience. 
  • Collaborate in strategy development to maximize user experience, online merchandising, new marketing opportunities and new functionality. Partner with IT to ensure the day-to-day effectiveness of all features of the company websites 
  • Manage relationships with external business partners for advertising/marketing programs. Participate in the formulation and negotiation of proposals and contracts with appropriate partners. 
  • Provide leadership to the digital marketing staff and customer relations team to deliver a top performing, brand-enhancing guest experience. 
  • Ensure all marketing messages and communication messages conform to our business strategies and brand promises.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field and at least four years of progressive responsibility in digital marketing or Associate’s Degree in Marketing or related field and at least six years of progressive responsibility in digital marketing. 
  • Experience in e-commerce marketing, go-to-market strategy development, and a proven record of growth in online sales channels. 
  • Must have strong management skills to include leading direct reports and developing staff. Must also have strong negotiation and communication skills as well as technical understanding of e-commerce platforms. 
  • Ability to integrate traditional and digital marketing and advertising programs with measurable results. 
  • Experience with multi-level organizational leadership and managing external partners and resources. 
  • Possess strong collaborative and organizational skills and excellent written and verbal communication. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. 
  • Consistent champion of the customer with an understanding of how best to meet their ever-changing needs.

Computer Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. 
  • Strong working knowledge of email service providers (Acoustic Campaign Automation experience, preferred). 
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and AdWords. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Strong understanding of user experience best practices, web browser limitations and search engine optimization. 
  • Proficient in the Mac and PC environments and familiar with iOS and Android platforms.
