The Digital Marketing Specialist (Paid Social) is a strategic-minded buyer and analyst, as well as a paid social media enthusiast who can create thoughtful paid social media recommendations and execute strategic campaigns. This position will execute best-practices for launching and running successful paid social media campaigns across all of the major platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) with a focus on targeting specific audiences through data analysis.

The Digital Marketing Specialist (Paid Social) will work collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications team to support social programs that support NSCs business objectives. This role will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and work closely with the marketing team and other business units to enable world-class paid social media strategy and execution for NSC.

Responsibilities:

Strategy (25%)

  • Strategize and manage a variety of client Facebook and LinkedIn ad campaigns from concept to creative to execution. 
  • Provide recommendations on paid creative formats and dimensions dependent on campaign strategy and objectives. 
  • Develop marketing strategies and marketing plans to support and achieve the client’s business objectives. 
  • Develop presentation decks and present marketing strategy, new vendor recommendations, and performance reviews to internal and external teams

Analysis (25%)

  • Analyze trends and innovations in paid social media. 
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions. 
  • Collect, analyze and interpret data to provide insights as to what the numbers mean for the customer’s current paid campaign as well as long-term paid strategy. 
  • Leverage real-time data dashboards and other reporting tools to communicate campaign performance to clients and create a clear campaign strategy.

Execution (50%)

  • Perform daily management of paid social media campaigns which include: campaign launches, budget management, analytic tracking and reporting, and optimizations. 
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests. 
  • Prepare reports and present results to clients and management. 
  • Manage organizational requirement updates across both 1st and 3rd party landing pages. Complete other duties, tasks and activities as they arise.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or relevant field. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital paid social media buying and planning, primarily Facebook Business Manager. 
  • Working knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager 
  • Knowledge of web design technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) 
  • Solid understanding of digital landscape and ability to manage performance across multiple campaigns 
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with an ability to present information to small groups 
  • Excellent writing and creative content skills and strong, professional verbal communication 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 
  • E-Commerce platform experience a plus
