Purpose of Position:

The Digital Merchandising Coordinator will contribute to the strategy and execute content updates, promotions and product optimization on the Duluth Trading website.

This role will work collaboratively with a cross functional team including Merchandising, Creative and Marketing for the continued success of our site performance and brand.

As a site merchandiser, you will work closely with the rest of your Ecommerce team to maintain an effective, customer-centric website. Contributing to the roadmap, as well as providing recommendations for new functionality.

Candidate must have strong critical thinking, self-motivated and a team player in a fast paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Merchandise the Duluth Trading website with Manager’s oversight. 
  • Determining categories of focus and scheduling of creative web assets including banners, homepage and department page experiences 
  • Identify new categories and evaluate the performance of existing taxonomy and assortments with regards to sales and seasonality 
  • Provide monthly or event based performance on navigation and assets, while providing recommendations and benchmarks that support them. 
  • Review weekly reports and make recommendations for improved merchandising 
  • Coordination of content and product storytelling that delivers on our brands humorous positioning 
  • Collaborate with our Merchandising & Product teams to ensure we are aligning across all channels on key focuses 
  • Execute site promotions and communicate approach with cross functional teams 
  • Testing support for web releases, enhancements, bug fixes and AB tests 
  • Support our content and personalization initiatives by contributing to the strategy and direction

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask while meeting deadlines 
  • Collaborative in work effort to execute the merchandising vision, but can work independently with little direction 
  • Clear and concise communicator that can effectively manage expectations of a growing channel 
  • Proficient computer skills and comfortable learning new systems/tools 
  • Analytical skills and confidence in making recommendations based on findings 
  • Experience with Business to Consumer eCommerce sites a plus 
  • Experience working in content management or similar tools for managing the deployment of products, assets and campaigns 
  • Use SEO best practices to continually improve organic search 
  • Solid organizational and planning skills 
  • Must demonstrate a capacity to operate successfully in a fast-paced, changing environment to make fact-based decisions
