Position Details

Digital Specialist
Southeast Wisconsin
Menomonee Falls, WI

The Digital Specialist is a key member of Marketing's digital communications team who is responsible for providing recommendations for the organization's web strategy to include but not limited to search engine optimization, search engine marketing, digital display, social media, online reputation management, e-mail marketing and digital analytics.

Reporting to the Manager of Digital Communications, the Digital Specialist is responsible to maintain and enhance the organization's presence on social media sites, search engines, and listing services (to improve accuracy of online listings and improve online reputation). The Specialist directs the activities of the organization's online advertising aligning marketing goals - working with marketing associates - with advertising tactics. The Specialist will provide reports for these online engagements on a regular basis. The Specialist will play an important role in guiding the online components to comprehensive marketing campaigns including the identification and implementation of innovative opportunities. Other duties as assigned.


  • A minimum of three years' of experience in Web Marketing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is required. 
  • Experience with digital analytics platforms is strongly preferred 
  • Experience managing social media and online search campaigns is required. 
  • Demonstrated experience with AdWords and SEO techniques is required. 
  • Minimum three years' experience with web strategy and/or web project management. 
  • Familiarity with CRMs and CDPs strongly preferred
  • Experience with e-mail marketing strongly preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business, Journalism or Communications is required. In lieu of degree High School or GED with additional 3-4 years of directly related work experience and an educational plan to obtain a Bachelor's degree may be considered.

Other information:

  • Solid understanding of social media search engine optimization and online reputation.
  • Experience with and understanding of Content Management Systems.
  • Understanding of Web development for search optimization Web taxonomies and application of metadata.
  • Understanding of tracking software for search social media and Web traffic.
  • Ability to analyze data create charts and graphs and deliver marketing presentations in a professional manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary.
