Objective of Position/ Expectations:

  • Create and develop original design with a desire to continue learning and keep up with design industry trends
  • Maintain the highest quality standards according to A2Z and fulfill Client expectations
  • Ensure that the objectives of the corporation are being met with the utmost quality, accuracy and efficiency

Duties/Daily Responsibilities:

  • Work in conjunction with the design team to implement and follow the daily/weekly/monthly schedule
  • Collaborate with Design Director, Creative Director, design team, Project Manager and/or Client to understand scope of work and goal
  • Develop creative content for ads, brochures, publications and digital assets
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with the creative team to strategize the achievement of client goals through creative and effective design
  • Produce visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate target audiences
  • Design social media creative for various platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Design original brands (logos), brand assets and brand usage guidelines
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, while effectively applying methodology and quality standards
  • Applicant must submit digital portfolio for review
  • BA or BFA in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, or Illustration preferred, or comparable experience
  • Excellence in graphic design and a high degree of innovation demonstrated through a professional portfolio
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite design and presentation software including: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Knowledge of digital file formats (tiff, gif, eps, pdf, jpeg, png, svg)
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles for conventional four color and digital print processes
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles for digital design, such as Google / Discovery ads, OTT ads/graphics, videos; and for social media platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Tik Tok, Pinterest, Tumblr, and LinkedIn
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles for website design
  • Knowledge of black and white and color photographic processes 
  • Be an analytical thinker and creative problem-solver
  • Possess a natural eye for design color and imaginative content
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and produce high-quality graphics in a fast-paced work environment

Salary contingent upon experience. 

Hours: This position requires 40-50 hours per week Salaried, Non-exempt position.

Reports directly to Design Director

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. / 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / 5:00 p.m. with either ½ hour or 1 hour lunch break
