1. Interactive UX Design Lead
This position is responsible for designing and producing the interactive visual and overall user experience for all projects. Primary areas of media will include: internet, mobile, barcode, email, interactive games, motion graphics, video, tradeshows.
What you'll do:
- Develop wireframes for user experience design and information architecture using best practices
- Develop multiple visual styles for a given project or prospective client
- Present, review and discuss your design direction with clients
- Creatively present design concepts and PowerPoint/Keynote media
- Design for consumer and business-to-business audiences
- Assist in front-end production, HTML/CSS/Javascript
- Understand basic development principles and ability to work closely with development team
- Maintain a strong, consistent visual style for outbound communications
- Assist in continual refinement of design and production workflow
- Manage occasional outsource design production
- Co-present in new business pitches
2. The Unicorn...Digital Quality Control/Brand Manager
- This full-time contract position demands successful design experience and the characteristics of a designer: an eye for typography, composition and consistency, but does not entail actual designing.
- Unicorn would monitor the 30+ Kohler websites for violations of brand standards, ensure high quality photography usage, double-check consistency with web and video with regard to events, trade shows, and related collateral, while looking for ways to improve consistency, user experience/aesthetics.
- This person will regularly interact with multiple constituents: with the communications department preparing for spikes in traffic caused by events; with the usability team, who reports on click through rates, etc.; with various department designers.
- Unicorn would provide a daily and weekly state-of-the-state reports to the Art Director before any changes or decisions are made.
- May also make presentations to VPs.
3. Interactive Art Director/Developer
- Concept, design, program and manage interactive marketing tools including websites (with and without CMS), HTML eBlasts, eNewsletters, Flash banner ads and Flash microsites
- Create, lead and manage interactive and social media projects for clients and agency
- Create PowerPoint presentations, webinars and videos
- Develop and provide digital/interactive concept ideas for proposals
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of, and propose strategies on how companies can leverage social media to meet their marketing and branding objectives
- Manage third-party vendors on interactive/digital developments
- Actively participate in prospect/client meetings where digital marketing is a focus of discussion and consideration
- Stay on top of the latest online marketing trends and opportunities for clients and agency
- Be a good trouble-shooter with the ability to work around unforeseen complex situations to meet client and agency expectations
- Stay up-to-date on all software and applications required to perform all job duties
