Manages and executes the organization’s desired culture, values and behaviors through corporate communication strategies; builds and manages relationships with internal stakeholders; writes and edits internal publications, scripts and other communications; supports the development of ongoing strategy for corporate intranet content management.

Essential Job Function:

  • Supports corporate internal communication strategy that consistently reflects the organization’s strategic vision; develops and publishes timely company information in support of strategy.
  • Writes, edits and disseminates information to employees using a wide array of internal communications that reflects a consistent tone and represents our brand image, including, but not limited to: the intranet, electronic and print newsletters, social accounts, text messages, email, audio and visual communications and leadership communications.
  • Serves as the marketing department's SharePoint expert, providing strategic guidance to the SharePoint core team. Provides direction that supports the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the intranet. Provides and manages content for the intranet. Provides user guidance, troubleshooting and overall strategic oversight for the platform.
  • Works collaboratively with functional areas to design and implement effective programs to drive employee engagement, knowledge and performance. Works effectively and efficiently with internal stakeholders to drive informative and inspirational content generation and dissemination throughout the organization to inspire and engage employees in the future of the organization; corroborates information with leadership and subject matter experts to ensure strategy, validity and appropriateness.
  • Regularly tracks and reports metrics; solicits and analyzes employee feedback and interprets data to recommend best practices, adjustments and new approaches for effective internal communication.
  • Supports the CEO, executive team, HR and Board of Directors in written and spoken internal communications as needed.
  • Leads and executes the communication element of cross-functional operations-driven projects as needed.
  • Provides direction to creative team on all internal communication graphic design and video projects for corporate communications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in marketing,communications, journalism or related field required.
  • 5 years' internal communications experience.
  • Strong experience with intranet management or content management systems, SharePoint experience preferred.
  • Experience must include demonstrated writing, proofreading and editing abilities.

Physical Demands:

  • Up to a combined 10% week night, weekend event work and overnight travel required.
