Internal Graphic Designer
Northern Illinois
Downers Grove or Remote, IL

The Internal Graphic Designer is mainly responsible for the conceptualization, development, execution and visual style of Glanbia Performance Nutrition internal facing materials, collateral and presentations. Reports directly to the Creative Director on the Design side of the Creative Service organizational chart.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Creative Services team and external GPN departments on any and all internal facing presentations, logos, email newsletters, signage and overall print or digital collateral to get final approvals and follow through to execution and delivery. 
  • Have amastery of Keynote and PowerPoint to create best in class presentations. 
  • Ability to take rough concepts, ideas, or presentations and turn them in to thoughtful, well-designed presentations and collateral. 
  • Work across mediums as needed to complete internal facing materials. This includes print, digital, and presentation. 
  • Have an in-depth understanding of GPN brand standards and visual styles 
  • Communicating and meeting with external departments, executives, executive assistants, and PR team as needed to ensure their projects are a success from concept to completion. 
  • Routinely connect with Creative Director on any and all design related queries. 
  • Routinely connect with Project Manager to ensure all projects and tasks are in-progress and tracking towards successfully meeting deadlines. 
  • Manage and oversee dealing with printers and outside vendors to ensure brand standards are being met, and brand colors are as intended. 
  • If needed, travel to print runs to attend press checks. 
  • Ensure proper management and maintenance of GPN internal facing materials on local servers, file storage areas on, and Brand Folder. 
  • As needed, train new design employees within Internal Design Team on various aspects of GPN operations, processes, workflow, and brand visual styles.
  • Clear understanding of role and desire to own and produce high quality GPN internal facing materials 
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience, Adobe Suite a huge plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, negotiate and conceive of new ideas in a high-pressure environment 
  • Exceptional oral and written communicator capable of explaining complex and/or abstract ideas in clear and succinct terms for senior management, executives, trade customers and consumers alike 
  • Exceptional analytical, creative, planning, organizational, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced and fluid business environment 
  • Well-developed interpersonal and team-building skills or exceptional aptitude for developing same.
