DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
As the Foundation’s Manager, Programs Marketing, you will have all of the responsibilities and authority customarily attendant to such a position, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Work closely with the Director, Programs to carry out the mission and objectives of the Foundation as approved by the Board of Directors.
- Maintain positive working relationships as a team player through problem solving issues, speaking positively about others, listening attentively, and observing the policies outlined in the PFF personnel handbook.
- Work well as a team member with positive and timely written and verbal communication, including sharing information up, down, and laterally.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
GRASSROOTS MARKETING
Work closely with the PFF Programs and Marketing teams to engage PFF volunteers in grassroots marketing
- Train PFF Ambassadors in raising awareness about the PFF and promoting the PFF
- Develop and manage Social Media Ambassador program
- Coordinate closely with Manager, Volunteer Programs, to oversee volunteer management for marketing efforts
- Coordinate with Marketing team on planning content and calendar for marketing on social media and other formats
- Identify and implement other grassroots marketing strategies in coordination with PFF Programs and Marketing teams and PFF marketing campaign
PROGRAMS COMMUNICATION
Coordinate with the PFF Marketing and Programs teams to develop strategies to raise awareness about the PFF’s community programs
- Meet with PFF Programs team regularly to gather information for content for emails, texts, social media posts, and other communications
- Regularly review and update Programs’ content on PFF website
- Coordinate with Government Affairs team to manage advocacy communications to Programs volunteers
- Work with outside consultants on production of videos that highlight patient stories and educate the community
- Develop Programs’ content for the Foundation’s biannual magazine
- Manage marketing for support groups and patient education events
- Provide training on effective use of social media for raising disease awareness to volunteers
- Coordinate Programs’ efforts for Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month
- Maintain records on and provide reports about key performance indicators for Programs’ communications
GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
Provide communications support to government affairs team for high-impact issues affecting the community.
- Develop materials for educating officials about issues of importance to the PF community
- Create communication pieces for informing the community about important government affairs topics
- Work closely with the PFF Marketing team on using digital media to educate the public about issues
