Independent Pharmacy Cooperative is looking for a full-time marketing team member to provide effective writing and communications support to advance the goals and programs of the organization. We are looking for enthusiastic team member that will interact with internal managers to implement strategic messaging via multiple media channels including print, web, social, email, fax and digital.

Hours will be 8:30 – 5:00 Monday through Friday. Competitive wage, bonus and benefit package offered in a casual work environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Write, edit and develop a variety of traditional and digital marketing messages as well as public relations deliverables. Examples include writing for:press releases, newsletters, social media posts, business web copy, app content, printed sales collateral and news alerts. 
  • Create collateral materials for products, programs and events including copy and layout. 
  • Interview stakeholders and subjects as needed for newsletter articles, web and other copy. 
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to create messaging and communications regarding IPC events, programs and initiatives. 
  • Create and update website content in content management system. 
  • As part of the Marketing and Communications Team, generate strategies and tactics for new product launches and program enhancements as part of integrated marketing and communication plans. 
  • Contribute to corporate events; promotion, registrations, tracking, materials logistics. 
  • Develop and follow action plans, timelines, project plans to ensure deadlines are met and multiple projects are managed simultaneously. Strong organizations skills helpful. 
  • Provide back-up for other Marketing and Communications team members as needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field); or Associate’s degree plus 1-2 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and Content Management System is a plus.
