This includes developing and delivering our end-to-end segment value proposition, building the Ecolab brand in the market, activating go-to-market strategies, commercializing new programs, driving stronger competitive positioning, generating and sharing customer insights, and identifying and developing problem statements for potential innovation.

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to drive strategy and growth in the Institutional Long Term Care segment. With an estimated market opportunity of $650M+ within Institutional, this important segment is a focus for long-term strategic growth for the division.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute short term, annual and multi-year business strategies to achieve sales targets for the LTC segment, with support from the LTC/Facilities SMM 
  • Ensure the segment level value proposition remains relevant and bring it to life through sales activation and go-to-market strategy 
  • Build the Ecolab brand within the LTC segment, including developing strategy and partnership plans with key industry groups and customers 
  • Work closely with the NA Corporate Account team and the Field Sales teams to energize them around LTC and activate and implement segment-specific strategies 
  • Leverage multiple channels (internal & external) to maintain current perspective on key trends and insights on the market/segment and share out across relevant cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Participate in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results 
  • Identify and capture customer problems and opportunities. Leverage those to work with the innovation team to develop short-term and long-term new product development strategies for the segment 
  • Set strategies and execute plans for commercialization of relevant new programs in partnership with other Segment teams, Marketing Communications and Portfolio/Innovation teams 
  • Lead development of segment and business reviews; work closely with other segment leaders to ensure broad alignment of strategies and execution plans

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional experience or MBA in Marketing with 5+ years of experience 
  • Experience in developing and launching new products/services 
  • Experience in developing marketing strategy 
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business-to-business marketing experience 
  • Ability to relate to influential people and complex organizational structures; strong interpersonal and relationship building skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization 
  • Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills; setting vision and strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, overseeing multiple project elements and proven track record of results
