THE ROLE:

Mindshare’s Strategy & Analytics Department is looking for a Senior Associate, Analytics with a strong background in Data Operations, to join our growing team! Supporting a large, well-known fuel/petroleum client, you will work in partnership with the broader team while owning the reporting framework across the brand. Our ideal candidate will have a mastery of Excel with working knowledge of Media Data and Analytics. If you consider yourself a data and reporting wiz – we want you!!

KEY OUTCOMES:

  • Aggregate, compile and execute all reporting requests; weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual 
  • Ability to manage and execute an overhaul of the current reporting framework and own the product moving forward 
  • Work proactively to accelerate reporting forward into automation; utilize ETL tools and or BI/Visualization software 
  • Manipulate and analyze “big” data sets synthesized from a variety of sources 
  • Present findings in a concise, logical and visual manner to the strategy teams and directly to the clients 
  • Assist media analytics and planning teams with various analytic projects for media – performing original research and writing reports 
  • Retrieve raw research data compiled from 3rd party media tools and synthesize it into usable forms for media team usage

CAPABILITIES:

  • Ample relevant professional experience in Analytics coupled with related educational background 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (vlookups/index match, sumifs, Power Query, etc.) 
  • The ability to translate results into clear, concise presentations, written reports, and data visualizations

Experience with the following technologies:

  • Visualization: Tableau, Omniscope, PowerBI or datorama 
  • Web Analytics (a PLUS): Omniture, Google Analytics, Webtrends 
  • Tag Managers: Adobe Tag Manager, Google Tag Manager 
  • Ad Servers: DoubleClick, Sizmek, PointRoll, Atlas, Innovid 
  • Ad Verification: DoubleVerify, IAS, Moat
